7th Heaven Says Goodbye
Saturday May 6, 2006
All good things must come to an end and in the case of 7th Heaven, that saying holds especially true. Despite rumors that the CW might pick up the show for another season, 7th Heaven will indeed make their final bow this Monday. As the WB's longest running drama, the Camdens have been through it all -- love, loss, babies, heartache and dozens of hilarious family situations. What can we expect from the series finale? We've watched Simon go from a little pipsqueak to heading down the aisle, which is what the finale will center around, if only he and Rose could stop fighting long enough to make it through the ceremony. The finale will not be without the usual chaos we've come to expect from this show as some life-changing announcements are made by Mary, Matt and Lucy. Several trips down memory lane will allow viewers to see how far these characters have come over the past ten years. The big question is: Will Simon and Rose actually go through with the ceremony? That remains to be seen, but the WB describes it as: "The wedding day ends happily, though not in a way anyone could have predicted."
