Nip/Tuck Naps J.R. Ewing

As Nip/Tuck goes back into production, casting news and storyline tidbits are flying fast and furious. Last week we learned that Sanaa Lathan would join the cast as the wife of a wealthy older man who would buy McNamara/Troy. Who will play the wealthy older man? None other than the man who played the villainous J.R. Ewing on Dallas....Larry Hagman. It is unclear as to how many episodes Hagman will appear, but the role is recurring, which means he will stick around for a little while during season four. Also joining the cast in a recurring role is the fabulous Kathleen Turner. Turner will portray a phone-sex operator who comes to McNamara/Troy for vocal-cord surgery. And finally, after her most recent role in the war of words with Tom Cruise, Brooke Shields will appear in the season premiere as Christian's psychologist. Anyone want to guess how long it'll take Christian to bed his psychologist? Season four of Nip/Tuck will return this fall on FX.
