Cancelled: NBC's Windfall

Don't you just hate it when you get hooked on a new show and those Nielson families don't tune in? Back in July when I reviewed Windfall, I was a little confused about the characters because there were so many to keep track of, but mainly I was concerned that should we get hooked and the show performed well, the likelihood of the series returning before next year would be improbable. All that aside, I did get cautiously hooked on this series, yet I wasn't a bit surprised to learn of its demise. However, it does look as though NBC will continue to air the remaining episodes, so stay tuned to see how it all ends.
Fans of the short-lived series Just Legal will be thrilled to learn that the WB will burn off the five unaired episodes beginning Sunday, August 6. The WB quickly cancelled this series back in September after it failed to capture viewers after three episodes.
More casting news rolled in the form of yet an other new Lost character. The Hollywood Reporter announced that film and television actress Elizabeth Mitchell will join the cast of Lost this season as Juliet, who could very well pose as a possible love interest for Jack. Those Sawyer and Kate fans may just have something to celebrate if this does come to pass.

I knew when Windfall premiered that it was only going to air the episodes already made and that it wasn’t going to continue.

It’s a great show and I am sure it will be replaced with garbage TV.

This is one of the best shows with the most creative plots I have seen in a long time. I cant tell you how many ppl I have got watching this show since episode#1! Please dont tell us this show will be cancelled & if it is, maybe its because it needs a better time slot.
Why???????? Why is it if I like the show, it gets cancelled! To make matters worse, it usually gets replaced by yet another reality show! Please bring back shows that take effort to write! I miss West Wing, Commander and Chief, Judging Amy…

I AM DEVASTATED. I LOVE THIS SHOW. GREAT CONCEPT, FABULOUS CHARACTERS. I loved how most of the characters were not extremely well-known from other shows or movies…this was definitely a character-driven show and what made me keep watching. Sean was in SKIN, another fabulous show back a few years that was cancelled. I’M SO SAD! I’ll miss the catchy theme song!
WOW!! I had no idea this was it for this great show. I was for sure hooked! This sucks, NBC needs to review their decision. Windfall is an awesome show with lots of twisting plots. PLEASE NBC KEEP IT GOING!
NBC needs all the help it can get with their new lineup and this show would have definetley helped. WHY? in the world would NBC want to cancel a show that was getting such popular feedback? How can we rally to keep this show on the air??
Why don’t we ALL quit watching network shows? There’s no use anymore in getting “into” a show because it’s not going to last. I have nothing to watch anymore. They have ALL been cancelled!! Windfall is my last. Do you hear NBC?? Getting me a hobby.
Please don’t tell me that this good show will likely be replaced by another reality show. Shame on NBC!
I cannot believe that yet another great show, with a totally different premise, is getting cancelled. NBC should givew this show another chance, or hopefully, another network will realize what a gem this show is and pick it up!
Sorry to hear this show is cancelled. I have enjoyed watching it so much!! It’s great that there was a real show with real actors to look forward to watching other than reality tv. I’m with the other person, I loved Commander in Chief -gone, Beautiful People - Gone, what a bummer!!!!
I LOVED This show!!! I’d at least like to see the ending episodes. What does one do to keep a good show going? Who ARE the Nielsons anyway? Are they real tv-watching people? Are they a panel on the network’s payroll? What demographic? Why doesn’t more of the watching public get a voice? So about those Nielsons…well do they really exist?

I just last week returned back to my job from a 3 month maternity leave, on which i commented weekly that, I LIVED to watch Windfall, because i looked forward to it SOOO much! Well, tonight i called my hubby 3 times from work to make SURE he was recording it, since i thought he had missed last weeks, and come to find out.. IT HAD BEEN CANCELLED!! I am devastated!!! I feel i have nothing to live for anymore (not really but it sounds really dramatic!!)! Where can we catch the last episodes?!?! Desperate in Washington!!
this was a good show…..reminds me of the show reunion also a good show the network got us hooked on and then pulled the plug in the middle of the season.
Why? Reality TV really is a drag!

I really loved this show it told stories that really do happen when people do really win the lottey and how they may change there life styles then what there use to living but it was in a good way and it sucks not to know what’s going to happen with all the drama.
I think windfall is nbc,s version of desperate housewives. My husband and I got hooked in the show. I think if it were re aired during the fall lineup and after a show such as Law and Order it will gain the viewers attention and be a big hit…

I’m disappointed that Windfall was cancelled. It was a great show and I was hooked. I hate it when they jerk good shows off the air and put crap on. Please show us the rest, so I’ll know how it ends.
I am very disappointed that Windfall has been cancelled. It was a very interesteing show and had a lot of potential of becoming a great one! Very unfortunate that we are now subjected to extremely stupid programs. Especially those retarded game and reality shows. Good going…

I was so sorry to see that Windfall was cancelled. This was one show that I could hardly wait to see each week. I hope enough people write in so that this entertaining show will be back up and running again. It sure beats a lot of these reality shows.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!! Get some real average Americans to be a Nielson family,everytime I get hooked on something they cancel and replace it with crap,,,, WAKE U you fools ,you had a major hit on your hands. I loved this show, just came to NBC to see when it was coming back on and got a huge shock.Of course I shouldn’t be suprised they did the same thing not too long ago with American Dreams.It has gotten to where I hae NBC!!!
