The Closer Returns for a Holiday Special
Sunday December 3, 2006
Are you suffering from The Closer withdrawal? Fifteen episodes a year just doesn't seem to be enough to satisfy our cravings for Brenda's southern hospitality, quick wit and secret chocolate addiction, does it? Luckily TNT has found a way to take the edge off until season three premieres next year. On Monday night, The Closer returns for a special two-hour episode. And if that's not enough, Kyra Sedgwick’s real life hubby, movie star Kevin Bacon, directed hour two. In this episode, Deputy Chief Johnson is visited by her former CIA mentor to help in an off-the-record investigation of a would-be defector found murdered in Los Angeles. Brenda must find the common thread linking a former KGB agent, the murder of several CIA agents, a young Lebanese boy thought to be a terrorist and 20 pounds of missing plutonium. The two-hour special airs Monday, December 4 at 8pm EST, with an encore at 10pm EST on TNT.
