People's Choice Award Winners
Wednesday January 9, 2008
The People's Choice Awards became the first award ceremony victim of the year due to the painfully long writers' strike. CBS decided to forego the picket lines and massive ratings downer by opting to air a scaled-down PCA special. Hosted by Queen Latifah, the modified (and strike-friendly) awards special featured the winners being presented with their awards while on various locations across the world. Grey's Anatomy walked away the biggest winners of the night, as they dominated several of the television drama categories, with Dr. Crabby Pants and the Vampire also making the winner's list. Find out was nominated and who won the 34th Annual People's Choice Award.

I watched part of the show but couldn’t bear to sit through all of it. I grew tired of watching Queen Latifah try to carry the entire show on her own. It was a pretty lame attempt to say the least.
I totally agree…I thought the show was really boring and was very disappointed in how it was done. It just felt like even though it was “the People’s Choice”, we, “the People”, don’t really get to say too much when it comes to seeing the ones we actually voted for. I felt bad for Queen Latifah, she tried so hard to do it ALL on her own.
