When premiere cable series such as Sex & the City and The Sopranos came to regular television (both network and basic cable), it was hard to imagine how censors could possibly edit certain scenes without compromising the integrity of the show, but somehow it worked.
The latest premium cable series to arrive on network television is Showtime's Dexter. Will the censors be able work their magic on this often-violent series? We'll soon find out as CBS begins airing the first season of Dexter on February 17 at 10pm (check local listings). Will the censors kill the work of the lovable serial killer? No matter how slash-happy the censors get, watching Michael C. Hall in his Emmy-nominated role is definitely worth every second of your precious viewing time.
From The X-Files to Roswell, the Sci Fi Channel clearly knows what the fans want as they continue to acquire rerun rights for some of television's most loved sci-fi series. If ever there was a series that can truly be defined as a fan favorite, Jericho is that show and it's heading to the Sci Fi Channel. Beginning February 11 (the night before season two premieres on CBS), the Sci Fi Channel will kick off the series with a four-hour marathon, followed by weekly airings on Mondays at 10pm (check local listings). Now that's something to go "Nuts" over!

Now if Sci-Fi will only renew the Dresden Files!! With Lionsgate having made a deal with the WGA, they could get episodes ready for production while everything else is still in repeats!
Great!!!!! Sci-Fi is getting to havae the greatest shows on TV. Wish they would pick them up as soon as the networks cancel them instead of having to wait two or more years and the casts are no longer available. Loved Firefly and Invasion.
I wish they would get Jericho and produce more episodes, since CBS has put it in a terrible time slot, and said more than likely they won’t produce any more than the 7 or so episodes they have in the can.
