ABC Favorites Returning with New Episodes

Since the writers strike ended a little more than a week ago, we've all been holding our breath as we await news about if/when our favorite dramas would return this spring with new episodes. ABC is the last of the five major networks to announce the spring schedule/new episode order and the news should please most fans....

To date, ABC has 13 drama series in their bullpen. Of the 13 dramas, the big six are going back into production and will hit our living rooms this April:

• Boston Legal - Returning April 8 with 6 episodes
• Brothers & Sisters - Returning April 20 with 4 episodes
• Desperate Housewives - Returning April 13 with five original episodes and a special two-hour finale (seven hours total)
• Grey's Anatomy - Returning April 24 with 5 episodes
• Lost - Returning April 24 with 5 episodes, bringing the season four total to 13
• Ugly Betty - Returning April 24 with 5 new episodes

When Lost returns with new episodes on April 24, it will air one hour later at 10pm EST.

Dirty Sexy Money, Private Practice and Pushing Daisies have been renewed for the 2008-09 television season, however they will not return until fall.
