Women's Murder Club Given Short Reprieve
Monday February 25, 2008
When the networks announced their post-strike plans, fans of ABC's Women's Murder Club went into panic mode when the series was left out in the cold. Little did we know that the series was right in the middle of its very own drama. As the writers' strike was settling down earlier this month, the series creators Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain, along with showrunner R. Scott Gemmill found themselves out of a job.
How could a series possibly go back into production without anyone running the show? The answer to that loaded question comes in the form of Robert Nathan, a former producer and writer for series such as Law & Order, ER and Law & Order: SVU. With Nathan now in charge, ABC has announced that Women's Murder Club is headed back into production for three episodes. While a return date hasn't been established, the series is expected to return sometime in April. (Photo: © American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. Photo by: Bob D'Amico)

We appreciate the news about those three episodes, but actually we won’t ease up on the panic mode until there’ll be a second season. http://www.mariskahargitay.org/save_wmc/ WMC fans unite!
