90210 Spinoff Adds to Cast

The 90210 spinoff is one step closer to filming the pilot as more actors are added to the ever-growing cast....

• Hilary Duff fans will have to wait for her next movie and/or CD to come out since the actress has decided to pass on the series.
  
  
• The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Canadian actress and former Degrassi: The Next Generation star Shenae Grimes has joined the cast as Annie Mills (the role Duff turned down). In addition to Grimes, they also confirmed that former Full House and Summerland star Lori Loughlin will portray Celia Mills (the new Cindy Walsh).
  
  
• Michael Ausiello over at TV Guide reports that former Arrested Development star Jessica Walter will play Tabitha Mills, the Mills family matriarch and alcoholic/former movie star. Ausiello also states that Ryan Eggold has joined the cast as a teacher at Beverly Hills High.

Will this series live up to all the hype? Will it become another pop culture phenomenon? Only Nielsen will have the answer to that loaded question this fall.
