Donna Martin Graduates -- to the New 90210!

Friday May 30, 2008
The fashion, the hair, those famous sideburns -- the original 90210 will always hold a top spot as one of the most influential television series of the '90s. The CW managed to lure Jennie Garth into the fold, but what would a new generation of 90210 be without iconic character Donna Martin? Tori Spelling has agreed to reprise her role and will make a few appearances in the new series this fall.

"Donna Martin Graduates"

When Donna almost didn't graduate in 1993, the show then created that catchy phrase which will forever take us back to the glory days of the world's most famous zip code. Spelling's character always seemed to be involved in some sort of crisis among her group of friends, but in the very end, Donna received the ultimate TV ending when she married her high school sweetheart.

When the new series reintroduces Donna's character, will we learn that she and David lived happily ever after? Did Kelly and Dylan finally get it right, or did he go back to Brenda once again? Hopefully TPTB will answer those all-important questions when 90210 arrives this fall to a living room near you.

I’m really happy Tori is coming back too. I hope they can get as many as possible from the original show, without overshadowing the new actors. The originals will add character and a solid base for the show to build on.

A few guest appearances won’t hurt. Just don’t make her a regular. Her real life drama overshadows the TV drama, and that’s hard to do!

I am super excited to see the new round of kids in 90210 and how the old characters ended up. This show was long overdue. And Sept 2nd can’t get here fast enough.
