Wednesday's Television Premieres - The Darling's Return!

When the networks announced which shows would return following the writers strike, I was devastated to learn that Pushing Daisies, Private Practice and Dirty Sexy Money would not air again until the fall. When those shows premiered last year, I found myself eagerly anticipating Wednesday nights each week and with the absence of Lost on that night, it was a bitter pill to swallow.

Since the days of Melrose Place, television had been sorely lacking a good old-fashioned primetime soap. The majority of television dramas these days are much more intelligent (and that's a very good thing) and rarely fall into that "mindless television" category.

We desperately needed a show that would allow us to delve into the completely unrealistic problems of the rich and infamous and ABC's Dirty Sexy Money is exactly what we needed. The Darling family couldn't be further from anyone we know in real life -- and I couldn't be happier!
