Jason Priestley Returns to 90210
Sunday October 12, 2008
Before all you old school 90210 fans get excited, Jason Priestley is not returning as Brandon Walsh. I know, my heart skipped a beat as well when I first heard the handsome actor was on his way back to the zip. EW reports that Priestley will direct episode 18 of 90210, which will air in the spring. They also revealed that Shannen Doherty is in negotiations once again to appear in two episodes -- could these two pieces of scoop be related?
Priestley directed more than a dozen episodes of the original series, so his return really doesn't come as a complete surprise. Will Brandon Walsh put in an appearance this season? Although the actor has already stated that a return is unlikely, I can't help but hold on to the hope that he'll return in some capacity.... perhaps he could drag Dylan and Donna back to 90210 for a big reunion. EW did hint that Luke and Tori have been approached once again by the CW.
Do you think it's a mistake to bring back so many characters from the original series? Which characters would you like to see return to their old stomping grounds? Post your thoughts below!

In response to LYNN JONES in the above comment, our household used to complain about this same issue. We have 2 family members who are hearing impaired and having to constantly change the volume or turn on mute made watching TV more of a hassle than pleasurable. The music in the shows and the ads/commercials always seemed to blare much louder in contrast to whatever TV shows we were watching. This very annoying problem was finally solved when we finally bought a new television last year (our “older” TV was less than 8 years old!). The older TVs and cable boxes aren’t equipped to handle some of the “newer” technology which affects the sound, ie. music, tv ads etc…
If you can, buy a newer TV, and/or turn on and take advantage of the Closed-Captioning options and you’ll all be happier campers. Most TVs that are up to 10 years old are enabled with the closed captioning so if you can’t afford a new TV then try it out. I promise it will help out to some degree! Kind Regards to you and I hope that you are able to enjoy the television again!
Okay, as far as 90210 is concerned, if the original actors want to come back then by all means, bring’em back! All the power to them!!
I’d love to see Tori reprise her role as well as some of the others too! I just hope that the two actresses who were told to gain weight actually do so. Especially the pretty girl who plays Silver….OMG, she is looking so sickly now!! In the first few episodes that I watched, yes I did notice that she was a little thin but in recent pictures that I’ve seen of her she is looking almost skeletal and her face is beyond looking simply gaunt!! I think that she is the more talented of the bunch and is the prettiest too. I really do hope that she’s gotten the help she needs and is able to gain some weight back before she is given the boot off the show!
