NBC's Life Gets Full Season Order

In a season where ratings are tanking across the board, trying to guess which shows will survive a full season has been close to impossible. Fans of NBC's struggling crime drama Life now have cause to celebrate -- the network has ordered a full season (back nine).

It's never easy when a network plays musical time slots with a series, especially when it's trying to lock in a regular fan following. However, when NBC announced last week that Life would move from Friday nights to a cozy Wednesday slot, I saw this as a good thing for the series and I think many fans felt the same way. TPTB at NBC concur as well and have issued the following statement:

"This unique crime drama continues to offer consistent and compelling stories each week," said Teri Weinberg, Executive Vice President, NBC Entertainment. "We love Life and are thrilled that we get to see more of these characters and amazing new cases."

Fans can expect more pick ups and probably some cancellations in the next few weeks as the fall season comes to an end.
