Canceled: Enemy and Jungle

Thursday November 13, 2008
It's a sad state of affairs when even Christian Slater can't survive the Nielsen ratings. NBC has canceled My Own Worst Enemy and Lipstick Jungle.

Lipstick Jungle has already completed filming their initial 13-episode order, while My Own Worst Enemy will end their run after 9 episodes. As it stands now, both series will remain on the schedule until all episodes have aired. However, don't be surprised if either series is yanked from the schedule at any given time.

Canceled Series This Fall Who'll be the next to go? Will Friday Night Lights return to save the day?

I really like My Own Worst Enemy! I wish these networks would give new shows more time. Sometimes shows don’t really take off until after the first season. grrrrrrrrr

I totally agree about My Own Worst Enemy. I think the network should give it a little more time. I think that Christian Slater plays a great role in this show. I have loved him ever since heathers. Please let it stay on the air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Own Worst Enemy is a very watchable show. To cancel quality like this is an indictment of the watching habits of Americans! “Reality” shows abound with merely a modicum of entertainment value yet a show like this one with imagination and wit gets the chopping block. Ridiculous! Why not try it in a different time slot first? Another panic move that does nothing more than disorient the viewers. What a shame…

Why do all the good shows get cancelled. Lipstick jungle was one we all got together to watch. Here goes another good series, what a shame.
