Is Heather Locklear Moving Back to Melrose Place?

Thursday January 1, 2009
For many years, the late Aaron Spelling called Heather Locklear his "lucky charm" because as soon as he cast her in each of his three struggling shows, the ratings would suddenly soar to new heights. Is the CW hoping this beautiful actress will bring that same luck to their Melrose Place spinoff?

According to Marc Malkin at E! Online, Locklear "has been approached to reprise her role as conniving advertising vixen Amanda Woodward on the upcoming new Melrose Place."

Since her days on Melrose, Locklear hasn't had much success on the small screen, or her personal life for that matter. Following her much-publicized divorce from rocker Richie Sambora, the actress is rumored to have contemplated suicide, spent some time in a facility for depression, and was recently arrested for DUI. This role could be just what she needs to get her life back on track.

Would you like to see Amanda Woodward move back to Melrose Place? Could her hubby Peter Burns and his co-worker Michael Mancini be far behind? Stay tuned folks; the script writing is underway and casting for this new series is only moments away!

I would definitely watch if Heather Locklear reprised her role on MP, but it wouldn’t be the same without Peter by Amanda’s side. Nobody had greater chemistry with Heather Locklear on that show than Jack Wagner, IMO.
