The CW Cancels 'Emily Owens, M.D.'

It looks as though the quirky doc has diagnosed her last patient -- the CW has canceled Emily Owens, M.D.

When Emily Owens, M.D. debuted back in October, not only did it go up against one of the presidential debates, it then had to content with baseball's American League Championship Series. Right off the bat (no pun intended), the series had the odds stacked against it, so it didn't come as much of a surprise when it brought in less than two million viewers -- less than last season's failed Sarah Michelle Gellar-led drama Ringer.

The CW reportedly plans to air all thirteen produced episodes (six have aired and seven remain).
