New wives are heading to Joint Base Marshall Bring (formally Fort Marshall) this spring...
Lifetime's hit series Army Wives will be adding new wives to the season seven cast (as per The Hollywood Reporter). Pretty Little Liars star Torrey DeVitto will play Maggie Hall, an Army wife/truck driver (and former soldier) married to a staff sergeant. Maggie has a 10-year-old son and her husband, a 14-year-old daughter.
Singer-songwriter Ashanti joins the cast as Latasha Durant, a strict mother of three whose main goal is to get as much fun as possible out of life -- while keeping her kids and husband in line.
Finally, Broadway star Elle McLemore comes aboard as newlywed Holly Gordon, a sweet farm girl who is desperately homesick. Sure sounds like she'll be in need of some new friends...
As for the original cast members... as season six ended, Roxie and Trevor were leaving to begin a new life. Sally Pressman will be back, but only on a recurring basis. Catherine Bell has signed on, but the same can't be said for Kim Delaney, whose character will be written off -- permanently.
Army Wives is due to return sometime this spring.
