Are you ready for yet one more crime drama?
From forensic dramas to procedurals, let's face it, the primetime schedule is fully loaded with crime dramas of all shapes and sizes. In recent years, crime dramas have become more inventive with shows such as Grimm, Beauty and the Beast, White Collar and Person of Interest. This winter, CBS is adding another new series to the mix to see if they can continue their good fortune in the crime drama department.
Golden Boy centers around a cop who very quickly rises through the ranks of the department all the way to the top as the youngest police commissioner in history and the price he had to pay to get there both personally and professionally.
Golden Boy debuts on February 26 and airs again the following week on March 5 before settling into its new home on Fridays at 9:00 PM on March 8. CSI: New York will air their season (or possibly series) finale on February 22 to make room for the new drama.
