Three years passed between seasons two and three, with no explanation as to how Kim came to work at CTU, what happened to Palmer after he collapsed or how close Jack and Kate Warner had become. 24: The Game offers answers to most of the questions you may have had when season three began.
The game is indeed challenging, but not ridiculously hard. If you are even a slightly skilled video gamer, the majority of the missions should only take two or three tries before completing. For the advanced gamer, this game may very well be too easy and probably not worth the money to buy -- I recommend renting the game.
The downside of the game is that for the exorbitant price of buying this game, you aren't provided with a vast amount of intel, but enough to satisfy any questions you may have had. The game is one single, twenty-four hour day and nothing more. I think I actually felt a little disappointed when I beat the game. Not entirely worth your hard-earned cash.
