2009 Golden Globes - Television Nominees & Winners

If it seems as though it's been an unusually long time since the last Golden Globes ceremony, you're absolutely right. Last year's writers strike wrecked havoc on the television season, and sadly the 2008 Golden Globe Awards show also fell victim to the strike when the WGA refused to allow their writers to participate and the Screen Actors Guild made the decision to boycott the event in support of the WGA.

Fortunately, the show went on as planned this year with a glitzy, star-studded event! This year's Golden Globe nominees and winners included a nice variety of tried and true favorites such as House and Dexter, and the latest and greatest new dramas from HBO.

The Hollywood Foreign Press has made one thing crystal clear -- the drama series on cable is where they devote the majority of their precious viewing time!
