Synopsis: This show centers around a rather eclectic team of FBI profilers. They each have their own expertise and come together as the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) of the FBI. They focus mainly on serial killers, trying to establish motive and anticipate “the next move” in hopes of stopping it before it happens.
Leading the team is Special Agent Jason Gideon (Mandy Patankin) whose own mental breakdown created initial questions with the team. Next in command is Special Agent Aaron Hotch (Thomas Gibson) whose quiet demeanor helps in gaining people’s trust.
Special Agent Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) is a young genius, who admits he’s never been to New York, or anywhere else for that matter, except on assignment.
Also on the team is Special Agent Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), Elle Greenway (Lola Glaudini) who has extensive experience in sexual offenses, and Agent Jennifer Jareau (A.J. Cook).
Together they travel all over the country in an FBI jet, putting together the pieces of the puzzle until the perpetrator is caught.
