Edie thinks that Karl is going to pop the question, but he's really trying to marry Susan, Carlos learns more about the fractured relationship between Gabrielle and her mother, Lucia (guest star Maria Conchita Alonso), and Lynette learns the extent of Bree's problem with alcohol.

Gabby's mother will reveal a huge secret about something very dark that happened many years ago to Gabrielle.
