When we last saw Desperate Housewives, Edie appeared to have committed suicide, Gabby got married to a politician who only married her for the Hispanic vote, Lynette learned she has cancer, Bree was faking a pregnancy to cover-up her daughter's pregnancy and Mike and Susan finally got married.

Is Edie dead? All sources point to a resounding NO!

A new family arrives on Wisteria Lane and not everyone will be thrilled to see them. As it turns out, Katherine Mayfair (played by Dana Delany), her daughter Dylan (played by Lyndsy Fonseca) and her Aunt (played by Ellen Geer) lived on Wisteria Lane 12 years ago and mysteriously left in a hurry without explanation. Katherine has since remarried to a much young man, a gynecologist named Adam (played by Nathan Fillion), who has secrets of his own.

Lynette begins chemotherapy and has a tough time of it.

Bree continues her fake pregnancy.

The big mystery this season revolves around the Mayfair family and the reason they left Wisteria Lane years ago. The mystery will unravel as they season progresses.

Rumor has it that one of the ladies of Wisteria Lane will be pregnant and all signs point to Susan.

Dylan apparently suffers from some memory loss -- could this have anything to do with the reason they moved away from Wisteria Lane?
