Synopsis: Have you ever stopped for a minute to think about the path you've chosen? Are you the person you planned on becoming? Eli Stone has come to that crucial point in his life, where he realizes he wants to be the man he was meant to be -- even if it means becoming a prophet.
Eli, a successful attorney at a San Francisco-based law firm, begins having alarming hallucinations. Worried that he may be dying, Eli goes to his neurologist brother Nathan to get checked out.
Armed with a clean bill of health, Eli seeks the help of Dr. Chen, a Chinese acupuncturist. Through his work with Dr. Chen, Eli's visions intensify to the point that it begins to affect his career and personal life.
When Nathan discovers that Eli is actually suffering from an inoperable brain aneurysm, Dr. Chen offers Eli another answer -- from above....Eli may be a prophet.
