Post-Cancellation News:
Shortly after the series was canceled, an Internet fan site collected donations from fans all over the country and used the funds to rent a ferris wheel for a day. The ferris wheel was in close proximity to the WB offices and the hope was to get TPTB to produce DVD's of the final two seasons.
Synopsis:
Following the death of his wife, Dr. Andy Brown, a world-renowned neurosurgeon relocated his two children, Ephram and Delia to Everwood, Colorado to start a new life. Determined not to ever allow his career get in the way of his family ever again, Andy sets up shop as a general practitioner in the small town.
Ephram, a promising pianist, is constantly at odds with his father. Soon after moving to Everwood, he falls in love with Amy Abbott, whose father happens to be the other general practitioner in town. After a year-long romance, Amy and Ephram part ways; but Ephram never gives up hope that one day they will get back together.
Delia is coming into her own these days and plays the peacemaker between Andy and Ephram. She is the grounding force in this family and will one day be a force to be reckoned with.
Although they struggle with many personal and professional issues, this family has fought (literally) to make Everwood their home. They have faced their demons, made many mistakes along the way and have forever impacted the lives of the residents of Everwood.
