As she is busy organizing Lane's baby shower, Rory gets a call from The New York Times offering her an informational interview.

Lorelai takes over the shower-planning duties, and winds up being the peace-maker between Lane and Mrs. Kim.

Logan finally tells Rory about his business disaster.

Rory tells Logan she will do whatever she can to help, but Logan tells her that he is flying to Las Vegas to blow off steam with his friends Colin and Finn.

Luke discovers that Liz and T.J. are trying to sell his boat, so he decides to plan a boat trip with April over the summer to speand some quality time with his daughter.
