Road trip! The Gilmore Girls, all looking to escape some difficulties in their lives, take a road trip to North Carolina to attend the wedding of Mia, the woman who took in Lorelai and Rory and served as a surrogate mother/grandmother during the time Lorelai was estranged from her parents.

Rory has a fight with Logan, which is what prompts her to go on the road trip.

Looking to get away from a recovering Richard, Emily invites herself along on the adventure.

While at the wedding, Emily is upset and a little jealous when she realizes how close Lorelai and Rory are with Mia.

Lorelai finds out that Emily came to see Mia years ago to ask for pictures of Lorelai and Rory.

Logan makes a surprise appearance and asks Rory to forgive him.

Lane and Zack ask Luke to be the godfather to their twins. She then goes into labor!
