One patient will come in with glass in her chest as a result of a terrible car accident. The doctors will have their hands full when she refuses treatment until she knows which hospital her husband went to following the accident.

The ER winds up in an almost riot state when patients complain about the long wait.

A little girl sits in the waiting room all by herself while her mother is treated.

Is Meredith dead? By the third episode of this arc, someone we know well will be dead. My money's on Meredith's mother.
