Series Synopsis
This mystery-drama revolves around a newspaper reporter named Dan Vasser who suddenly begins to travel through time to change the lives of those around him. When his travels reunite him with his long-lost fiancée Livia, life with his present-day wife gets very interesting.
Is it Worth Your Precious Viewing Time?
Reminiscent of Tru Calling and Quantum Leap, Journeyman offers a different twist to time travel storytelling. I found the pilot episode to be confusing at times, but as the episode went on, I began to truly understand the premise and where future episodes would take viewers. Each episode centers around a purpose and as the episode unfolds, it is very important for viewers to pay close attention to all the little details each time Dan Vasser journeys back in time. I found each of the main characters very likeable and in no time at all, viewers will find themselves vested in the lives of these people. Watch this series with an open mind and prepare to anxiously anticipate the next new episode.
Probability of Success?
The only real competition Journeyman faces is from CSI: Miami, so this series has a viable chance of ratings success. I think viewers are beginning to tire of the tremendous amount of forensic series and if they are looking for something a little different, this series is worth a try.
