- Jack's father, Christian Shepard is known to have ties with Ana-Lucia, Shannon and Sawyer.
- Did you happen to notice the address on the real Henry Gale's license? It was 815 Walnut Ridge Road. The license expires in 2003. Is it possible that the man they have captured is Kelvin, the other man working in the hatch with Desmond?
- Locke was inspecting a home for a middle eastern woman -- could this be Sayid's Nadia? The guest starring credits were: Andrea Gabriel as Nadia.
- The pregnancy test Sun used was from a company named Widmore. In the "Fire + Water" episode, there was a sign the producers said would be important in the future. The sign read: Widmore Construction. Michael worked in construction, I wonder if there is any relation?
- Claire's baby was injected with medicine from the same type of bottle Desmond was using in the first episode of season two.
- During the scene between Ethan and "Zeke" in the episode Maternity Leave, they referred to "he" -- who is he and why are they answering to him? Could it be Hanso?
- Henry Gale, the man Danielle captured claims he and his wife arrived in a hot air balloon. In the movie, The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy's uncle was named Henry Gale and the wizard arrived in Oz in a hot air balloon.
- An easter egg can be seen in the 1/25/06 episode, but only if you have an HD TV. If you click on this link and look in the upper left-hand side of the photo, you will see an airplane coming down from the sky. The plane looks to be an older model plane with a double-fin. Could there be another plane crash someone on the island?
- The writers have stated that Mr. Eko's walking stick is important and will offer clues that will be uncovered in later episodes. They also stated that we will find out this season why the plane crashed in the first place.
- This probably has no significance, but it's kind of interesting anyway -- These same numbers have all been retired by the New York Yankees - Gehrig, Yogi Berra/Bill Dicky, Thurman Munson, Whitey Ford, Don Mattingly and Jackie Robinson.
- The same actor played the part of Hugo's boss and Locke's boss and both were named Randy.
- Check out the September/October, 2005 issue of "Travel Savvy" Magazine -- there is an article about Emilie deRavin. When they introduce her in the article, she is called the "surrogate" mother of the baby just born on the island. Did the magazine make a mistake or could this be a clue?
- They boarded the flight through Gate number "23" (this can be seen in the Episode when Hurley is in a rush to catch the plane).
- Kate said that the reward for her capture was $23,000.
- The name of the flight is Oceanic 815.
- The last name of the man brought into the ER with Jack's future wife was Rutherford, which also is Shannon's last name.
- What did Walt say to Shannon? A clever fan played it backwards. "Press the button. No button's bad."
- The producer said that of all the numbers, 23 is the most important. In numerology, 23 would be 5 (2 + 3). Jack has the number 5 tattooed on his arm.
- Yes, Jack/Matthew Fox's tattoos are indeed real and the producers said they would be important to the secrets of the island.
