About Connie Britton (Rayna James):

Most will likely remember the three-time Emmy-nominated actress for her role as Tami Taylor in NBC's fan favorite TV series Friday Night Lights. She has also appeared in several episodes of Fox's 24 and had a long-running role as Nikki Faber in ABC's comedy series Spin City. She starred in the original Friday Night Lights movie, as well as in the films Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, The Last Winter and A Nightmare on Elm Street. Her most recent role before landing the gig on Nashville was playing Vivian Harmon in Ryan Murphy's spooky horror drama series American Horror Story. She was nominated for two Emmys (in 2010 and 2011) in the Leading Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Friday Night Lights. She was nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress In A Miniseries Or A Movie category for her role in American Horror Story.

About Hayden Panettiere (Juliette Barnes):

This lovely young actor began her career before she was even a year old, but got her start in acting on ABC's now-defunct daytime soap One Life to Live as Sarah Roberts before moving on to Guiding Light, where she played the role of leukemia-stricken Lizzie Spaulding for several years. In 2000, Hayden became a hit with audiences when she played the coaches outspoken daughter in the hit film Remember the Titans. She has starred in the films Ice Princess, Raising Helen, Joe Somebody and Racing Stripes before landing the role that made her a household name -- as cheerleader Claire Bennet in NBC's once-popular sci-fi drama Heroes. The phrase from the series, "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" became one of the biggest catchphrases in recent television history. She dated her Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia for a year during production, which caused quite a bit of raucous as she was still a teenger at the time. Since her days as the cheerleader, Hayden starred in the movies I Love You, Beth Cooper, Scream 4, Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy.
