When we last played doctor at McNamara/Troy....
- Christian learned he had a daughter, who was having an affair with Matt. They continued the affair even after they learned of their connection.
- Sean became a television celebrity and soon attracted a dangerous stalker named Colleen, who was pretending to be a high-powered Hollywood manager.
- Julia announced she was a lesbian and carried on an affair with Olivia Lord.
- Olivia's daughter, Eden, had an affair with Sean and spent most of the season poisoning Julia.
- Christian accidentally pushed Gina off a roof.
- Kimber became the porn star she was always meant to be.
- Julia discovered Olivia was poisoning her, so she confronted her and wound up being shot.
- In the very last scene, Colleen stabs Sean several times. We last see him lying in a pool of his own blood on the operating room floor.
- The first episode begins right before Colleen stabbed Sean so viewers can see how it all went down and what happens immediately following the attack.
- Does Sean survive? Would the show really be the same without him? Of course not! If Sean survives, he probably won't be in the best shape for a long time, both physically and emotionally. However, he might now be as bad off physically as he has led others to believe.
- Liz decides to have some plastic surgery, but Christian discovers a problem that could be life threatening.
- I don't want to spoil the surprise, so I won't get specific -- one of the main characters will have a major health crisis.
- Colleen will get what's coming to her.
- Matt takes his life in a positive direction (for once).
- Some new characters will be introduced in the first episode, one of them being a 17-year-old who just graduated from medical school.
- Liz and Christian become much closer. He will ask her to be involved in the most important part of his life.
