The escape plan is moved up several days when Bellick discovers the hole in the guards room. Westmoreland manages to get Bellick temporarily out of the way, but it's only a matter of time before the guards discover he is missing. Westmoreland is badly injured.

After a conversation with Abruzzi, Nick holds Veronica at gunpoint.

Knowing the entire escape plan lies with Sara's help, he confesses his plans to her. After discovering how involved her father is with the Vice-President, Sara reconsiders helping Michael.

Michael, realizing he will never be able to get Lincoln out of his cell without help, holds a knife on Pope and demands he release Lincoln.
