Synopsis:

In this day and age of technology, can you possibly imagine an existence without our modern comforts such as television, cell phones, internet... electricity? In this exciting drama brought to us by television and film mastermind J.J. Abrams, the world has lost all forms electricity -- no way to communicate to learn what happened and no way to fix the problem. Something or someone has literally flipped a switch and the world has reverted back to the days before electricity was invented. When a local militia murders a young woman's father, who happened to have had something to do with the blackout, she and two friends go on a journey to discover what really happened.

The series is created by Eric Kripke, who is responsible for the CW's hit sci-fi drama Supernatural and JJ Abrams, the brilliant mind who brought us numerous dramas such as Lost, Fringe, Alias and many blockbuster movies.

About Billy Burke (miles Matheson):

Most probably associate series star Billy Burke for playing Bella's father, Charlie Swan in the blockbuster Twilight films, but before he became involved with vampires, he appeared in several episodes of Fox's 24, Gilmore Girls, Wonderland and Party of Five. He also starred in the films The Independent, Without Limits, Along Came a Spider, Fracture, Untraceable and Red Riding Hood.

About Elizabeth Mitchell (Rachel Matheson):

Although this lovely leading lady is probably best known for playing the iconic role of Dr. Juliet Burke in ABC's wildly successful cult classic Lost, Elizabeth Mitchell also played Erica Evans in ABC's alien drama V and Dr. Kim Legaspi in the long-running NBC medical drama ER. She also guest starred in the dramas L.A. Firefighters, Significant Others, Time of Your Life, The Lyon's Den, Everwood and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She also starred in the movies Answers to Nothing, Frequency, The Santa Clause 2, Nurse Betty and Running Scared.

About Giancarlo Esposito (Captain Tom Neville):

Most recently, Giancarlo played the recurring character Sydney Glass/ Voice in the Mirror and the Genie in ABC popular drama Once Upon a Time, as well as Gustavo 'Gus' Fring in AMC's Breaking Bad, but this talented actor has had a long and distinguished career with dozens of roles under his belt. Some of his television work include roles in the dramas CSI: Miami, Detroit 1-8-7, Bones, Las Vegas, The Division, Girls Club, Third Watch, Homicide: Life on the Street, Bakersfield P.D. and many, many more. He has also starred in the movies Malcolm X, Do the Right Thing, Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man, Stardust, Alex Cross -- to name a few.
