Q: Do you think we'll see some romance between Stark and Jessica?
Ian: "I think we're going to have that on a very slow boil. I think those things are more effective if you know its there and I would never rule it out completely. I think it's something both of them know would be a big mistake and certainly she knows it would be a big mistake because she's his boss. It's going to be hard enough to establish any kind of sense of authority over somebody like him anyway."
Q: What can you tell us about what's ahead on Shark?
Ian: "There is going to be a storyline about this P.I. and there was a big scandal (in real life) about a private investigator the stars and there was a case in Los Angeles that involved a lot of high profile attorneys and a lot of actors and a lot of people read about it and we sort of created a character like that with a fantastic actor we got to play him named William Forsythe, a big tough guy, movie character and him and James are great together.
We do a take on the rape scandal that happened at Duke. Those kind of high profile cases that involve a lot of the same issues that we're doing with the pilot and they extend to the same stuff we do with his daughter. We find out that taking care of his daughter is not as easy as it looks, there's a little buyer's remorse in the first couple episodes with both of them."
Q: Is there anything you'd like the fans to know about the show?
Ian: "We love making the show, its been unbelievably exciting. We're excited about it, we hope that they love it. Hopefully there are a lot of different levels they can enjoy it from!"
