Synopsis: Sleeper Cell gives viewers an expansive and authentic look at the global conflict that has defined our world since September 11, 2001. The miniseries combines current events and pertinent political developments into its contemporary storylines as it explores the personal and professional side of committed agents combating one of the most concealed dangers in our nation’s history.

Sleeper Cell: American Terror also tackles such controversial topics such as civil liberties, torture and rendition to create a realistic and frightening look at the global war on terror. Diverging story arcs and plot points carry the drama across continents where the miniseries’ complex characters bring to life the harrowing tales of this global conflict.
