A trip down memory lane allows viewers to understand the complicated relationship between Oliver and Lex.

During flashbacks, we'll meet Duncan, a friend of Lex's from high school.

During the high school reunion, several people who tortured Lex in high school are violently killed and the obvious suspect is Duncan.

Clark realizes four other beings from the Phantom Zone may have escaped at the same time when he views satellite photos from that day and spots four craters.
