Clark and Lois find the spaceship Kara arrived in, but before they can investigate further, Kara knocks Los unconscious so she and Clark can have a chat.

Kara reveals to Clark that her mission is to protect Kal-El.

Overcome with grief about the death of Lana, Clark decides to leave Smallville behind and heads to the Fortress of Solitude to begin his extensive training.

Clark is in for a shock when Jor-El reveals that Kara's father is his evil brother, Zor-El and that the people he loves in Smallville may be in danger and that he must head back to find out the true reason she came to earth.

Lex makes a disturbing discovery about Project 33.1. Could it be that a Lana clone was created?
