Fine (a.k.a. Brainiac) unleashes the virus on the world, but tells Clark he'll release the vaccine if he frees General Zod.

After gaining superpowers, Lex confides in Lana, who continues to stand by him - however, she is in for deep trouble when Lex's life takes a shocking turn.

Clark goes to Lionel for help, who in turn channels Jor-El.

The finale will end with Brainiac holding Lois's life in his hands onboard a plane.
