Summer TV Preview - Dramas

'Franklin & Bash'

Premise: People have been calling lawyers "ambulance chasers" for many years and Jared Franklin and Peter Bash keep the tradition alive as they literally follow accident victims to the ER, prostitutes to the precinct and any other situation where one might need a lawyer ASAP. This dramedy follows these two entertaining street lawyers who get hired to work in a prestigious (and very conservative) law firm led by the eccentric Stanton Infeld, who sees a lot of himself in these young men -- a move that doesn't sit well with his domineering nephew, who had plans of his own for the firm.

Series Premiere: June 1, 2011 - Airs Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on TNT

'Love Bites'

Premise: The romantic dramedy follows three inter-connected stories about love, dating, relationships and marriage. Each week features a new set of guest stars who will bring their own spin to each of the entertaining stories surrounding the main characters.

'Switched at Birth'

Premise: Daphne Vasquez and Bay Kennish's worlds are rocked when they discover that they were accidentally switched at birth. Bay has lived a charmed and privileged life, while Daphne, who lost her hearing when she was little, and her single mother have financial problems and live in a working class neighborhood. Not wanting to further complicate the girls life by switching them back to their rightful parents, Daphne, her mother and grandmother move into the Kennish's guest house. Naturally, the two girls struggle with their identities as they try to adjust to a whole new world.

'The Nine Lives of Chloe King'

Premise: On her 16th birthday, Chloe King's world is turned upside down when she begins to develop heightened abilities and learns that she is a descendant of an ancient race called the Mai. The Mai have been hunted for thousands of years and are believed to be the offspring of the Egyptian goddess Bastet. Chloe soon realizes that she is being pursued by a mysterious person and is relieved to learn that two of her classmates are also of the same race and take her under their wing to protect and teach her everything she needs to know. Can this seemingly normal teenager adjust to life as an extraordinary being?

'Falling Skies'

'The Lying Game'

Premise: As teenagers, Emma and Sutton each learn they have an identical twin sister. Emma was raised in the foster care system, while Sutton was adopted by a wealthy family. Upon meeting, Sutton convinces Emma to switch identities so she can go in search of their birth mother. When Sutton fails to show up at their prearranged meeting place, Emma must make a tough decision about whether she should tell the truth about Sutton's whereabouts and risk her own safety or continue to live Sutton's life until her twin returns with the answers they are seeking.

Series Premiere: August 15, 2011 - Airs Mondays at 9pm ET on ABC Family
