Q: You have a new role coming up on the new TNT series Saving Grace with Holly Hunter, tell us about the role.
Kenneth: "It's a show about Oklahoma cops and she (Holly Hunter) plays this female detective who is kind of jaded and has a second chance angel who comes into her life. She doesn't know if she's hallucinating this or if it's really happening. This angel tells her if she doesn't get her stuff together, her time is going to run out. I'm her partner, a cop and married to someone else and we're having an affair, a sexual affair and we can't keep away from each other. It makes it interesting because she's not just sleeping with me, she's sleeping with a whole bunch of people - although I don't know that. She had an affair with another guy we work with, he's my best friend and nobody tells me. There's a lot of underlying currents going on at the same time. It's an interesting concept and its got a lot of humor in it."
Q: So you get to play detective again.
Kenneth: "Yeah, a good ole Southern boy. I have to wear my hair down; I have a bit of a growth. This guy has a tortured conscience, he goes to church and believes in God, yet he's doing all these things that go against it."
Q: Have you had any interesting fan encounters?
Kenneth: "Sometimes with fan encounters, they really think I'm the character. Like with the money train, so many people were angry because they were so invested in it. I was at a Laker's game and was going to meet Michael up top to get something to eat and I was walking down the hallway and about eight guys who were kind of drunk starting b*tching me out because I burned the money train. It became a little hostile for a minute and I thought wow, they really thought I burned this money!"
Q: Do you have anything you'd like to say to the fans?
Kenneth: "Thank you for following me in every role that I do. In my work, I just want to tell a story and help people go on a journey. I'm glad any fans that I do have and I'm usually not aware of it until I get out there or read a message board. I want to thank everyone who follows my work."
