Three friends blowing off some steam following two grueling years of grad school take a rollerblading joy ride through a museum. Within seconds of their prank, terrorists blow up the museum, which ultimately marks them as the prime suspects. When one of the three men goes missing, the other two must run from the authorities while trying to prove their innocence.
Is it Worth Your Precious Viewing Time?
Brilliantly suspenseful, Traveler is easily one of the most entertaining new series of the 2007 television season. I found the characters are easy to like, the storyline intriguing and the chase as thrilling as any blockbuster movie. I loved that many of the characters are not who they seem and just when you think you've figured out the role of each character, the game changes in a big way. In the short amount of time Will Traveler appears, the versatility of this complex character is sure to have viewers playing the guessing game for the remainder of the series. By the end of the first hour, I was completely hooked and anxiously awaiting the next episode.
Chance of Survival?
Very rarely will a summer series score big in the ratings, but over the last couple of years, new television programming in the off-season has been known to draw a decent audience. With a show this good, if viewers just tune in once, they'll come back for more!
