Is it Worth Your Hard-Earned Cash?
While Brothers & Sisters aired during the regular television season, I didn't fall in love with this series, but there was a healthy attraction. However, it wasn't enough to get me tuned in every week while there were so many other great series to follow during the season. Once I received my DVD and began watching the series, I was hooked! From feeling the agonizing pain of a mother seeing her son go off to war to the delight of watching new love blossom, this series is the first in a long time to make me feel such a broad spectrum of emotions. I find qualities in each character that remind me of people in my everyday life and at the same time, I find that I can identify with several of the characters because I feel like I am that person in many ways. As each episode unfolds, I can't wait to see what will happen next in the lives of this extraordinary family. Is this DVD worth your hard-earned cash? You bet! Especially if you're a lover of compelling family drama, with some scandal and mystery thrown in for good measure.

This feature allows viewers to get to know more about the main characters and storylines to give you a nice jumpstart into the psyche of this series. If you're already an avid fan of the series, you'll likely find the feature titled Behind the Scenes with the Brothers and the blooper reel to greatly enhance your viewing experience. The actors who play the Walker brothers are not only absolutely hilarious, but they share a strong friendship as well. I've always felt that how the cast of a series gets along once the cameras stop rolling affects the on-screen chemistry and when you have a cast that really likes one another, it makes the relationships between the characters that much more believable.
