'Swingtown' Synopsis
The '70s delivered disco music, bell bottoms and the sexual revolution. The series takes us into a Chicago suburb back in 1976, where we meet newly relocated Susan and Bruce Miller. Tom and Trina Decker, the neighborhood party couple and seasoned swingers, immediately welcome Susan and Bruce into their wild world of excess. While the couple struggles to balance their new "swingers" lifestyle and still hang on to an old friendship with conservative couple Roger and Janet, they soon realize their seemingly perfect marriage is slowly ripping at the seems.

Is 'Swingtown' Worth Your Hard-Earned Cash?
I was too young to remember the '70s, but Swingtown gave me a perfect glimpse into those dark days of fashion, that groovy music and free love -- I found it impossible to turn away from this fantastic series!
This DVD release may not have all of the bells and whistles of many of those major TV on DVD competitors, but the bonus features more than make up for the lack of episodes (13 instead of 22). The gag reel was hilarious, the "Making of" featurette was informative, but my absolute favorite bonus feature was "Have A Nice Revolution: Sex & Morality In 1970's America."
For those of us who didn't experience all that the '70s had to offer, this feature will transport viewers right back to this amazing place in time. I was amazed by how accurate the show represented the political atmosphere and other events that transformed our nation. It's a history lesson you'll never forget and worth every second of your precious viewing time.
