Alana de la Garza Joins the Cast of Law & Order

After being on the air for more than a decade, changes are bound to happen. At the end of this season, Law & Order lost Annie Parisse (ADA Alexandra Borgia). A few weeks ago, we learned that the long-running series would vacate their Wednesday night time slot and move to Fridays. We also learned that Dennis Farina would be hanging up his badge after two seasons. At long last, Law & Order fans have something to celebrate -- Alana de la Garza has joined the cast as a prosecutor for Assistant District Attorney Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston). de la Garza was last seen on CSI: Miami when her character, Marisol was gunned down shortly after marrying Horatio Cane (David Caruso).Law & Order will enter their 17th season this fall on NBC.
