Who's the Hot New Doc on Grey's Anatomy?

When Grey's Anatomy returned last week, a new character arrived in a dramatic way, instantly connecting with Cristina -- and with viewers. Who's the hot new McDoc?

You may remember him as the time-traveling Dan Vasser on NBC's Journeyman, or as Lucius Vorenus on HBO's Rome, but as of now, Scottish actor Kevin McKidd will be playing Dr. Owen Hunt on Grey's Anatomy. Although the role is recurring (for now), viewers can expect McKidd to spice up Cristina's love life and generally annoy Derek with his unconventional medical ways.

When McKidd starred on Journeyman last year, I had the opportunity to chat with him about the series, how he learned to speak with an American dialect and his thoughts about the writers strike (which was in full swing at the time of our interview). Get to know a little more about this talented actor before he reappears on Grey's Anatomy later this fall.
