Is Hilary Duff Coming to Heroes?

For years Hilary Duff kept young girls entertained as Lizzie McGuire, starred in several hit movies and even managed to achieve quite a bit of success in the music business -- all by the age of 21. What's next for this talented young star? She's heading back to the small screen....

NBC has announced that they have signed Duff to a one-year, exclusive, talent and development deal. As part of her deal, Duff will have her own series and also has the unique opportunity to guest star in multiple story arcs on several other NBC series.

"Hilary is an incredibly versatile talent with a huge following whose career we know will continue to soar on NBC," said Teri Weinberg, Executive Vice President, NBC Entertainment.

"We are confident we will develop great ideas that would feature her vast talents and are thrilled to have this opportunity."

Could she wake up one day and find she has an extraordinary ability that would allow her to join those Heroes for a few episodes? Perhaps she could help solve some crimes (or maybe even commit them) on Life or Law & Order? A secret agent on Chuck? The possibilities are endless!
