Season one was all about breaking out, season two will focus on the nation-wide manhunt and the rat race among the escapees to get their hands on Westmoreland's hidden millions.
- The premiere episode will take place eight hours after the escape with Bellick hot on their trail.
- Sara will survive the overdose, but her condition will be critical.
- After discovering Terrance Steadman is alive and well, Veronica will quickly become his prisoner.
- Special Agent Alexander Mahone (played by Bill Fichtner) comes on board to lead the manhunt and will soon become Michael's worst enemy.
