Heroes Synopsis

Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy), a genetics professor from Chennai, picks up his late father’s research and makes an astonishing discovery - a seemingly random group of people around the world are developing astonishing super powers. From a drug-addicted artist (Santiago Cabrera), who paints the future and an ambitious politician (Adrian Pasdar) who can fly, to a New York cop who hears other people's thoughts (Greg Grunberg) and a Japanese computer programmer (Masi Oka) who can distort the space time continuum, these new Heroes seem to have a shared destiny.

Why TV on DVD?

When TV series began popping up on DVD, I knew it was the start of something great! Not only did this format allow viewers to relive an entire season, but those who never had the opportunity to watch a series could finally see what all the hype was all about and view each episode at their luxury.

Is it Worth Your Hard-Earned Cash?

As TV on DVD becomes more popular, I have found that it takes much more than the typical bonus features to impress me these days. Heroes knocks it out of the park with this fantastic DVD release! Did you know there was an unaired pilot episode -- complete with a character we've never seen? 50, count 'em 50 deleted scenes allows viewers to see what could have transpired had time constraints not been an issue. Learn how special effects are created and executed and go behind the scenes of both the show and the musical folks.

My Favorite Bonus Feature

Aside from all the incredible extras on the DVD set, I managed to lose myself for longer than I'd like to admit with the Matt Parkman Mind Reading Game. Are you are able to read minds? The answer may surprise you!
